“All yesterday’s red lines have already disappeared in the war,” Podolyak

Advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that “all yesterday’s red lines” have already disappeared in the war and escalation is underway.

“The war is already big. All of yesterday’s red lines are gone. Everything that seemed unthinkable yesterday is already reality. Escalation? Yes, I have. But the very fact of aggression and the nullification of international law on the part of Russia is a maximum escalation. Therefore, there is no need to continue looking back,” Podolyak said.

At the same time, he made it clear that Kyiv still does not accept any options for ending the war, “except for the mandatory military defeat of the aggressor.”

For such an outcome, according to Podolyak, “two things” are needed.

“First: parity of war. Ukraine needs a comparable volume of weapons. High precision. To compensate for the Russian quantity. There is no other way... And second: the speed of decision-making in war. Everything needs to be done quickly. Any delay is always the path to increasing the cost of war,” Podolyak said.
