Tomorrow they will turn off the lights all day, - Ukrenergo

To comply with the limits, oblenergos will use hourly shutdown schedules for the population and industry.

On Wednesday, June 5, lights will be turned off throughout Ukraine. Hourly shutdown schedules apply to industrial and household consumers. Ukrenergo reported this.

“Tomorrow, June 5, a deficit in the energy system is forecast throughout the day,” the message says.

Ukrenergo noted that limits on electricity consumption will apply in each region from 00:00 to 24:00. Oblenergos will apply hourly outage schedules for residential consumers and industry to comply with the limits.

“If limits are exceeded, emergency shutdowns may be applied to all categories of consumers,” the company explained.
