President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is currently on a visit to France, has begun talks with his American counterpart Joe Biden.

This was reported by the Twitter account of CNN correspondent Natasha Bertrand.

In particular, United States Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken are taking part in the negotiations.

“Biden announced a new aid package to Ukraine in the amount of $225 million, for which Zelenskyy thanked him,” the correspondent said.

White House reporter Seung Min Kim noted that during the meeting, Biden apologized for the months-long delay in approving weapons for Ukraine. In particular, he added that the United States is “still in business.”
