Zelenskyy announced new steps to strengthen the capabilities of the Defence Forces

The head of state noted this in his evening address .

As Zelenskyy noted, at the front, almost every day, it is invariably most difficult in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Russian army puts the most pressure. Most of the fighting takes place in this area every day.

Just yesterday, Russian troops carried out more than 40 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, today there are already more than 20 attacks.

Zelenskyy expressed special gratitude to every soldier of the Defence Forces, who is exactly there destroying the enemy, to every Ukrainian soldier and commander who are doing everything to hold their positions and help their brothers in positions nearby.

“Maximum efforts so that you and our entire army have more weapons, more equipment, more modern systems. There was already a report today from Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi, and also a report from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Budanov - we are preparing our new steps. Ukraine will definitely protect itself,” the President said.
