Ukraine’s Special Forces hit occupiers’ latest R-416GM communication station

Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict losses on the enemy at the front, destroying their latest equipment. This time, the Special Operations Forces hit the newest communication station of the Russian invaders, the R-416GM.

This R-416GM station was the first to be destroyed by the Ukrainian military during the war. The corresponding video was shown by the press service of the SOF.

“SOF hit the newest communication station of the Russians. For the first time in the history of the war,” the message says.

Operators of the 3rd SOF Regiment discovered a Russian digital radio relay station R-416GM while carrying out a mission in one of the directions.

This mobile complex, adopted by the Russian army in 2018, was designed to improve the effectiveness of radio relay communications in field conditions.

Our operators carried out a fire strike on the target using one of the latest SOF developments. As a result of an accurate hit, the R-416GM station was destroyed, which disrupted communication between the command post and units of the Russian army.

It should be noted that this is the first case of the destruction of the R-416GM station by the Ukrainian military since the beginning of the war.
