The Cabinet of Ministers has made changes regarding mobilization. Who no longer needs to undergo MMC

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 675 of June 7, 2024 (published on June 12) changed some mobilization rules. In particular, in some cases, citizens will no longer have to undergo a military medical commission (MMC).

The full text of the document appeared on the CMU website . The resolution amends:

– the procedure for organizing and maintaining military records of conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1487 of December 30, 2022;

– The procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization for a special period, approved by government decree No. 560 of May 16, 2024.

The IHC can now be skipped during the reservation procedure for a person liable for military service, as well as for those who are under 25 years of age.

“The procedure for granting a deferment from conscription for military service during mobilization in connection with reservation and deferment ... does not provide for referral to a military medical commission for a medical examination,” the text of the document says.

In addition, persons under 25 years of age are not sent to the MMC. “During martial law, conscripts are sent to a military medical commission to undergo a medical examination only if they are accepted into military service on a voluntary basis,” the resolution says.

Also, those liable for military service who are not yet 25 years old should not be sent to military military service if they have completed basic combined arms training or basic military service.
