Ukrenergo announced round-the-clock shutdowns

The reason for the tighter schedules was increased electricity consumption due to warming temperatures and workdays.

On Tuesday, power outage schedules will be in effect around the clock in the regions of Ukraine. Ukrenergo reported this on Monday, June 17.

“Tomorrow, oblenergos will apply hourly shutdown schedules throughout Ukraine from 00:00 to 24:00. The reason is an increase in consumption due to warming and working days,” the message says

It was noted that the energy supply to critical infrastructure facilities will not be limited.
