Occupants attacked Ukraine with "shaheds": buildings damaged in Lviv region, one injured
On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, June 19, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The enemy launched them from the south, but the UAVs eventually reached the western regions, and air defense was operating in Lviv and the region.
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi , called on the work of the air defense forces not to be stopped. "Everyone stay safe!" – he wrote.
"Enemy drone in the vicinity of Lviv. We are not filming anything! We are not posting it anywhere!" – added the head of the RMA Maxym Kozytskyi. Before this, he warned about the threat to residents of the Lviv region, in particular, Busk and Lviv.
Soon the alarm was all over in the Lviv region. “The air raid warning cleared in Lviv. Thank you for the work of our air defense. It was loud,” Sadovyi wrote .
Later he reported that the Lviv community had reached Malekhiv. One wounded male security guard, aged 70, is known to be injured. He is in moderate condition, the victim was hospitalized by ambulance.
In Malekhiv, as a result of a Russian attack, a multi-storey residential building was damaged and 20 windows were broken.
“An office building was damaged. The security guard described above was hospitalized here. His condition is moderate. In the private sector, windows in 5 buildings were broken,” Sadovyi wrote .
At 5:22 Sadovyi reported new explosions in Malekhov, and air defense was also working there. Details are still unknown.
Subsequently, the situation was clarified in Telegram by the head of the Lviv RMA Maxym Kozytskyi. According to him, air defense soldiers in the Lviv region destroyed 5 out of 5 “martyrs” that night: four during an air raid that lasted from 02:32 to 03:35, and one more during the second alarm from 04:27 to 05:24 .
