DTEK told where the funds are being invested

Currently, the process of restoring energy facilities destroyed by the enemy is underway.

DTEK reported that all available funds are being invested in restoring thermal power plants (TPPs) damaged as a result of Russian shelling, DTEK Public Executive Director Dmytro Sakharuk said on air.

According to him, repairs in the energy sector will continue in the next two months, in particular, nuclear power units will be closed for scheduled repairs, in addition, thermal and hydroelectric power plants will be restored after destruction.

“We have lost 90% of DTEK Energy’s generating capacity. We are investing all the funds we have - UAH 4 billion - in order to recover. But this, unfortunately, is not enough,” Sakharuk said.

Sakharuk noted that the situation in the energy system remains very difficult, especially in the front-line regions, where energy facilities are under constant fire.
