Finland announced a new military aid package for Ukraine

Finland announced the transfer of the 24th package of military assistance to Ukraine - the decision was made by President Alexander Stubb at the proposal of the government.

This was reported by the press service of the Finnish Ministry of Defence.

It is estimated that replacing the funds included in this batch will cost Finland approximately 159 million euros.

The total value of defense equipment supplied by Finland to Ukraine is 2.2 billion euros.

“Finland is committed to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s unjustified aggression. This is not only about Ukraine, but also about the right of all free peoples to a dignified existence. We Finns know from our own history how important this issue is,” said the Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.

For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of care, the exact contents, methods and timing of the package will not be disclosed.
