Occupied Makiivka reports an arrival: invaders’ air defence could have come under attack

In the afternoon of 1 July, in the suburbs of occupied Donetsk, Makiivka, there were reports of arrivals, which were followed by a fire. According to media reports, the Russian invaders’ air defence system could have been hit.

Around 12 noon, local publics published a video showing a column of smoke over Makiivka and a fire in the field after the arrival. It is noted that three explosions occurred in the city in the Zelenyi microdistrict.

Later it was reported about the work of air defense in occupied Donetsk and Makiivka.

In addition, local media reported smoke in the Petrovskyi district of Donetsk.

The occupation “head of administration” of Donetsk, collaborator Oleksiy Kulemzin, spoke about Ukrainian shelling.

Ukrainian journalist from Donetsk Denys Kazanskyi reported that Makeyevka was probably hit by the occupiers’ air defense.

“Arrived in occupied Makiivka. It is reported that the air defense in the Radyanskyi district of the city has been destroyed,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
