Bezuhla accused the Air Force commander of lack of preparation for the adoption of the F-16
MP Maryana Bezuhla accused Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk of lack of preparation for the F-16.
He says that for more than a year he “refuses to come” to the parliamentary defence committee because “he has nothing to say,” but instead sent several F-16 officers with whom the issue of the upcoming delivery was discussed at a closed meeting.
He says the fighters will strengthen air defense, but no more.
“From what I can say, unfortunately, the transfer of such aircraft to Ukraine will not change anything fundamentally. No magical assaults or counter-offensives. Forget it. Moreover, the infrastructure for them is still not ready, and the attitude towards pilot training on the part of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not stands up to no criticism. It’s as if our partners need it, not us,” writes Bezuhla.
She also states that since Oleschuk is not a pilot, but an air defense specialist, “the voice of the pilots is lost, basic things are not done.”
Earlier, Bezuhla began to criticize the “old guard of generals” led by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi. As she previously criticized Zaluzhnyi.
