The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Brigadier General Holubtsov will head the Air Force Aviation Command

“This is a professional military pilot who knows the matter well from the inside; it is he who will now head the Air Force aviation command, created within the existing number of management-level military personnel,” the military said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also noted that as a result of the formation of the Armed Forces Aviation Command, there was no increase in the number of military personnel in the new structure or in the headquarters.

The command of the Armed Forces explained that the change in the organizational structure is taking place as planned in accordance with the standards of NATO member states.

“It will also take place in aviation units. Say, a tactical aviation brigade will become an aviation wing, etc.” – the military added.

In addition, the Armed Forces recalled that several weeks ago Golubtsov, in an interview with Radio Liberty, spoke about the F-16 fighters and “everything that interests society regarding the prospects of Ukrainian military aviation.”
