A volunteer who rescued animals from the front line was not allowed on the night bus because of her dog
This was reported by PO Pluriton and the carrier Pavluks-Trans .
Kateryna Arisa, co-founder and volunteer of the Bakhmut Animal Welfare Society, and now the head of the PO Pluriton, was not allowed on the night bus. The reason for the refusal was a pet dog, although when purchasing tickets there was no indication of the ban on traveling with animals.
The woman was told that in order to transport the dog she must have a carrier. However, in this case, the dog would not be allowed into the cabin, but only into the luggage compartment.
“To the question “How will the dog go there in such heat?” “He’ll suffocate in 8 hours,” the driver answered in Russian with a grin: “Nothing, we’ll open the window for him,” they wrote on the Civil Defence page.

The owner and the dog had to spend the night in the open air, since it was already night and they had nowhere to sleep in Kyiv.

Kateryna Arisa, together with other volunteers, took hundreds of animals from the war zone, as well as abandoned wild animals from a zoo in the Donetsk region.
“And most importantly: there is no mention of the ban or conditions for transporting animals, either when purchasing a ticket or on the page or website! By the way, calls to the carrier’s hotline did not help in resolving this situation, and the money for the ticket was not even returned,” the PO claims.

In turn, the carrier’s Instagram account in current Stories entitled “Frequently Questions” states that their company prohibits the transportation of animals. This story was published six weeks ago.
“Animals can cause allergies or create cleanliness problems. The presence of animals may cause discomfort to other passengers. Thank you for your understanding,” writes the carrier.
Pavluks-Trans did not comment on the situation as of the time of writing the news.
