President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacts to the assassination attempt on Trump.

“I was horrified to learn about the shooting of former US President Donald Trump during his election rally in Pennsylvania.

There is no justification for such violence and there should be no place anywhere in the world. Violence should never win.

I am glad to know that Donald Trump is now safe and wish him a speedy recovery. I also express my condolences to the relatives of the victim of this attack - a participant in the rally.

I wish strength to everyone who is shocked by this event. I wish America to come out of this stronger,” he wrote.
