President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood.

He reported this on his telegram channel.

“We are fighting against a terrible enemy who cannot be called human and who is infinitely far from true Christianity. Its essence is ruins. The death that it brings and which we must overcome,” the president noted.

According to the head of state, “Ukraine cannot agree to less than to live. To less than to preserve itself. To less than to remain human.”

“Ukraine will not submit to evil, which sheds blood for the sake of its sick self-affirmation. Which tramples both human and divine truth and devalues everyone except itself. Russia is building its statehood on this. But you and I are different. You and I are already separated by our spirit from this enemy," Zelenskyy emphasized.

“And we must defeat this evil, and Ukraine will do it. There will always be Ukraine. Our history. Our people. Our state. I congratulate you on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood! And I thank everyone who is with Ukraine!” – the President of Ukraine summarized.
