The destruction of the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital shows "how ruthlessly and inhumanly the Russian Federation is waging this war of conquest."

This was stated by the Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze, reports Deutsche Welle .

“We must not and will not accept the fact that this place of treatment for children with cancer in Ukraine no longer exists,” she said.

The ministry announced the allocation of 10 million euros for the restoration of the Kyiv Okhmatdyt hospital, which was partially destroyed as a result of the Russian attack on July 8.

The allocated money, together with the funds of other donors and donors, will be used to quickly return the hospital to working condition and prepare the building for use in the winter. We are talking, in particular, about the repair and maintenance of hospital facades, treatment rooms, as well as electricity and heat supplies, the publication says.

According to Schulze, the destruction of the children’s hospital shows "how ruthlessly and inhumanly Russia is waging this war of conquest." The minister added that children suffer “most of all” from the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
