As of July 24, one of the nuclear units was connected to the power grid after scheduled repairs.

The Ministry of Energy reports this.

“At one of the nuclear power plants, after planned repairs completed ahead of schedule, one of the nuclear power units was connected to the power system. This will significantly affect the stability of the power system and reduce the existing electricity shortage,” the message says.

It is noted that over the past 24 hours in the western region, due to technological violations, a high-voltage overhead line was briefly switched off three times. Consumers did not lose power.

Due to difficult weather conditions, 7 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region remain without power supply.

Energy companies supplied power to 31,190 consumers who were de-energized as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions. In total, 512 settlements remain without power due to hostilities and technical violations.

It is also reported that the water level in the cooling pond of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is 14.84 m. This is enough to meet the needs of the station.

As reported, the repair campaign at the nuclear power plant began in March. It is planned that it will last a total of 617 days at all power units.
