NABU is obliged to open a case against Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi
The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered the NABU to open a pre-trial investigation against Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi on the fact of receiving an unlawful benefit.
The lawyer filed a complaint against the bureau for not registering a statement of crime related to the chairman of the board of Ukrenergo. The statement referred to possible criminal offenses under Articles 209, 364 and 368 of the Criminal Code. The court reviewed the complaint and found that NABU should have registered the statement because it contained sufficient information about a possible crime.
HACC partially satisfied the complaint and ordered NABU to enter information about possible crimes into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. In this case, the determination can be appealed during the appeal.
