The head of state said that work is now underway on the configuration of air defence to protect the Kharkiv region and other regions.

The military command must provide an updated air defense structure and generate new supply requests for Ukraine’s partners. This was stated in the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Commander-in-Chief (Oleksandr) Syrskyi, who took part in the meetings today, and the relevant commanders must present an updated structure for the operation of our air defence systems and new requests for partners - what exactly should be provided by the end of this year,” the country’s leader said.

According to him, today there was a report from the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov. He spoke about the defense of the east of the country, the actions of Ukrainian soldiers and combat capabilities.
