Ministry of Health appealed to law enforcement officers regarding the tender for the restoration of Okhmatdyt
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has appealed to law enforcement agencies to conduct additional checks on the tender for the restoration of the Okhmatdyt hospital, which was significantly damaged by a Russian missile on July 8.
This was announced by the head of the department, Viktor Lyashko.
The tender for the restoration of Okhmatdyt was won by Bud-Technology LLC. However, this caused a wide outcry in society, since there were companies ready to rebuild the hospital at less cost.
As the head of the Ministry of Health noted, the Bud-Technology tender for the work has not yet been signed.
“The contract has not yet been signed, as the company’s ability to carry out all the necessary work has been studied.
I see that this choice caused a resonance, so today we turned to law enforcement agencies to conduct additional checks. For my part, I want to emphasize once again that I personally and my team are doing everything to ensure that the process is absolutely transparent,” the Minister of Health emphasized.
At the same time, he added that on Friday, August 2, the Ministry of Health will hold a briefing on this tender, where it will be possible to clarify all the details of the case.
“We will not just rebuild Okhmatdyt, but we will definitely make it even better, more powerful and more modern. From the moment the contract is signed with the contractor company, a public report will be published daily to inform people how the money collected through their efforts is being spent. We are for maximum transparency and accountability,” said Viktor Lyashko.
