As a result of shelling in Poltava region, a number of trains are running with delays
As a result of shelling in the Poltava region on Sunday, the railway infrastructure was damaged, a number of trains changed routes and were running with delays, the press service of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) reported on Monday morning.
“For more than 24 hours, several of our trains have been “catching up” with the schedule: the consequences of yesterday’s change in routes as a result of shelling of infrastructure in the Poltava region are still manifesting themselves. In fact, we have 4 deviations from the schedule, which our drivers and dispatchers are actively working to overcome: No. 104/103 Lviv – Kramatorsk (+5:10), №22/21 Lviv – Kharkiv (+5:10), №2/1 Ivano-Frankivsk – Kharkiv (+2:35), №202/201 Vorokhta – Kharkiv (+2 :35) )", - informs about the consequences of the UZ shelling.
The company also clarified that flights No. 64/63 Lviv - Kharkiv and No. 112/111 Lviv - Izyum at night have fully returned to schedule. The two-group train brought 218 passengers to Kyiv during the curfew, so transport by bus was organized for them in the city, and, if necessary, the possibility of spending the night or transferring to other flights.
