Night attack on Ukraine: a series of explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region and Sumy

On the night of Wednesday, 7 August, explosions occurred in Sumy, as well as in the Khmelnytsky and Bila Tserkva districts. At the same time, the Russian occupiers launched drones across Ukraine.

This is reported by local Telegram channels.

As you know, at 0:30 there were explosions twice in Sumy. According to the head of the Sumy State Military Administration Oleksiy Drozdenko, air defense is operating in the city. In the Sumy region at that time, the air raid warning had been going on for 14 hours.

At 1:16 Drozdenko reported that after a hostile target was shot down, debris could fall.

At the same time, the sounds of explosions were heard several times in Khmelnytskyi. Specifically at 2:30, 2:33 and 2:35.

Prior to this, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the movement of enemy drones from Vinnytsia in the direction of the Khmelnytskyi region, in particular, in the direction of Starokostyantyniv.

Also, at around 02:29, the sounds of explosions were reported in the Bila Tserkva district. Local channels reported that air defence systems were operating in the region.

As of 2:50 a.m., air alerts were announced in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Later, at 03:35, explosions were heard again in the Khmelnytsky region. Monitoring channels reported 2 drones flying towards Starokostyantyniv.
