Situation at the front: occupiers continue assaults in all directions

Russian occupiers do not cease intensive military actions in all directions of the front. Since the beginning of the day, 85 direct combat clashes have already occurred.

Shelling and attacks continue in a number of key areas, in particular Pokrovsk and Kurakhove, and the situation remains tense. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Tuesday, August 27.

Today, enemy artillery and mortar fire hit the areas of Sopych, Bachivsk, Porokhon, Pokrovka, Krasnopillia, Dmytrivka, Sydorivka, Ulanove and Orlivka.

In addition, the Russians conducted air strikes with anti-aircraft gunships on Vorozhba, Esman, Vilna Sloboda, Atynske, Horilne and Bessalivka.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops are storming the defensive positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk. The enemy’s attack continues, and the launch of multiple rocket launchers in the direction of Kozacha Lopan was also recorded.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy carried out 15 offensives near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka and Stelmakhivka, and launched five air strikes on Senkove, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Synkivka and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked positions near Druzhelyubivka, Nevske and Novosadove seven times. The enemy was stopped by skilful actions of Ukrainian defenders.

In the Siversk sector, our forces repelled a Russian attack near Verkhnekamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops tried to advance towards Hryhorivka, Andriivka and Klishchiyivka, but were defeated as a result of six engagements.

In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers tried nine times to displace Ukrainian units from positions near Toretsk and New York, but without success.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian proxies conducted 25 assault attacks in the areas of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Novooleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Novohrodivka and Selydove. Ukrainian defence forces repelled 24 attacks, one battle is still ongoing. The enemy’s losses in this sector are being clarified.

In the Kurakhove sector, the invaders attacked 11 times, nine of which were repelled, and two attacks are ongoing near Karlivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy stormed our positions near Vodiane and Prechystivka five times without success.

In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy made three offensive attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyno, but all attacks were repelled.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupants attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops twice, using aircraft to drop five aerial bombs in the areas of Sadove and Tyahyntsi.

In other areas of the frontline, the operational situation remains stable, but hostilities continue.
