Ministry of Defence wants to turn “Reserve+” into an online TRC

Deputy Minister of Defence Kateryna Chernohorenko reported this in an interview for Forbes Ukraine.

According to her, it took time to demonstrate the legal significance and necessity of the Reserve+ application, as well as to change the perception of the TRC. Chernogorenko noted that thanks to this application, 3.2 million people updated their credentials, and at the moment the department has a "large-scale plan to turn Reserve+ into an online TRC."

The Reserve+ program is planned to include several functions that military registration and enlistment offices currently perform. This includes, in particular, the processing of deferments and online recruitment. Chernohorenko is confident: "This is an ambitious task, but I am sure that we will accomplish it. We will also add the ability to upload a photo to an electronic military registration document."

According to the official, the app is currently developing functionality for processing three types of deferments: for large families, people with disabilities, and full-time students. As for online recruitment, Chernohorenko noted that the Ministry of Defence will work in this area together with other platforms.
