"Report of the commander [of the Ukrainian Armed Forces] Oleksandr Syrskyi regarding the situation on the front line - primarily the Pokrovsk direction. Separately, the commander-in-chief reported on the details of the operation in the Kursk region, in particular, the next replenishment of the exchange fund. This is extremely important for strengthening our positions in the exchange processes," the head of state wrote.

The second issue discussed at the headquarters meeting was preparing schools for the academic year, Zelenskyy added.

"Reports by Prime Minister [Denys] Shmyhal, Minister of Internal Affairs [Ihor] Klymenko, Minister of Education and Science [Oksen] Lisovyi. Security issues, as well as an analysis of the construction of shelters. The government must also be aware of its personal responsibility for preparing schools from the point of view of energy challenges," the president emphasized.

Energy issues were also discussed at the meeting, Zelenskyy added.

"The state of the elimination of the consequences of Russian strikes. Analysis of some problems in the construction of protective structures," he specified.

According to Zelenskyy, the main task is “to strengthen work in each of these three areas to the greatest possible extent.”

The President published a video from the Headquarters meeting at which Syrskyi spoke.

"The offensive operation continues in the Kursk direction. Over the past day, our troops have advanced up to 2 km in some areas, and a total of 5 km of territory has been taken under control," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

He noted that battles of varying intensity continue along almost the entire front line, with the most difficult situation being in the Pokrovsk direction.

"The enemy is trying to break through the defence of our troops, but by morning all attacks have been repelled," Syrskyi noted.
