Occupants attack a village in Kharkiv region: three civilians injured
On the morning of 31 August, Russian troops shelled the village of Novooosynove in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region with artillery. Three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on the consequences of the Russian strike. According to the investigation, the enemy covered Novoosynove with fire at about 8:00 am.
Three men, aged 67, 38 and 77, were injured.
The shelling also damaged residential buildings and outbuildings.
Under the procedural leadership of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by members of the Russian Armed Forces, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
