Birth, marriage and name change certificates have been added to "Diya"

The Diya application now includes new digital documents - birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates and name change certificates.

The press service of the Ministry of Digital Development reports this.

"Now birth, marriage, divorce and name change certificates will always be on your smartphone - in "Diya". You no longer need to look for the originals when you get a job, apply for benefits or confirm a change of surname," the statement says.

A birth certificate for a child of any age will be automatically pulled up by tax number. Just log in to the app and it will appear in the list of documents.

Certificates will be automatically pulled into "Diya" if:

• the State Register of Civil Status Acts contains information about the certificate and the tax number is indicated in the document;
• you are a citizen of Ukraine aged 14 years and older and have a verified tax number.
