49 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity. The Coordination Headquarters and the Ombudsman shared footage of the first emotions of those released and their calls to relatives with the words "I’m home".

Today, another 49 of our citizens are returning home. The Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war and Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets shared the first footage and calls to relatives.

"The first moments of freedom. They have been waiting for this for so long. The first words of support and understanding: they are awaited, they are loved, Ukraine is fighting. We are doing everything possible to bring everyone home," - noted under the photos and videos in the Coordination Headquarters.

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets published one of the calls of a released Ukrainian with the words "I’m home".

He noted that Ukraine works every day to ensure that every child, every family waiting for their loved one from Russian captivity, hears these cherished words.

In addition, the Ombudsman also published a video in which a Ukrainian woman released from Russian captivity shared her first emotions after returning home.

She said that she wrote to her mother: "Pray, Mum, I’ll be home, I had a dream."
