Airstrike on Zaporizhzhya: number of injured increased, SES showed the consequences of the shelling

Rescuers evacuated residents of the damaged apartment buildings, and one woman was freed from her own apartment.

The SES also noted that glazing and facades of multi-story buildings and structures were damaged. A car fire and the balcony of one of the apartments were extinguished over an area of 10 square meters.

"Emergency work was carried out to dismantle the destroyed entrance structures of the apartments," the rescuers reported.

The SES reported that 47 rescuers and 10 units of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhya.

"Police officers, pyrotechnicians, volunteers from the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, and other relevant city services were working on the scenes," the rescuers said.

In the morning, the head of the RMA reported that the number of those injured in Zaporizhzhia from the Russian shelling last night had increased to 13 people.

The official specified that these include 7 women, 5 men, and a 15-year-old boy.
