In the AFU commented on whether Russians could re-occupy Kherson

Russian occupiers continue active combat operations along the entire front line, including in the south. The spokesperson for the Southern Defence Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, on the air of "Espresso.TV" explained whether the enemy has a chance to cross the Dnipro.

In his opinion, it is quite a difficult task, as simply getting into a boat, crossing the river, and starting combat operations will not work. As a result, the occupiers will not be able to begin an offensive on Kherson through the Dnipro.

"It is a whole set of measures that need to be carried out. First, it requires the concentration of forces and means that must conduct this crossing. Powerful artillery, missile, and aviation support are also needed. Besides, all this cannot go unnoticed by Ukrainian intelligence. War has changed now: drones are deployed, which see everything. Therefore, it is practically impossible to conceal such a number of forces and means for crossing and assaults," noted Vladyslav Voloshyn.

Separately, the spokesperson for the Southern Defence Forces added that Ukrainian defenders currently control the entire island part of the Dnipro, as well as all approaches not only to Kherson but also to the Kherson region.

"Therefore, it is now impossible to carry out an unnoticed crossing of the Dnipro and launch an offensive on Kherson again. The Russians are not taking preparatory steps to conduct a crossing of the Dnipro. They do have forces and means at the mouth of the Dnipro, but they are insufficient for conducting a crossing," concluded Vladyslav Voloshyn.
