The hidden property worth millions of hryvnias was confiscated from the traitor brothers Kozak and Medvedchuk

Relatives of ex-deputy traitors Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak had a new batch of property confiscated with a total value of almost 16 million UAH. They unsuccessfully tried to hide this from the investigation, as it was transferred to the management of the Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA).

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). It concerns a company registered in Lviv called "Betonbud", which bought illegally mined sand from LLC "Kerambud", which was also confiscated. The sand was mined in the Horodok and Yavoriv districts in Lviv region.

"At the request of the SBI, the court arrested and transferred to the management of ARMA a new batch of property of the company ’Betonbud’, which its owners (the relatives of Medvedchuk and Kozak) tried to hide from the fiscal authorities," the State Bureau said in a statement.

It was found that the company’s balance sheet included unlisted assets with a total value of almost 16 million UAH. In particular, this includes a hangar for bulk materials, equipment for concrete production, a warehouse, and an office space. The investigation is ongoing.

Previously, journalists found out that the ultimate beneficiaries of "Betonbud" are the brother of the former deputy Viktor Medvedchuk – Serhiy – and the brother of his business partner Taras Kozak – Bohdan. The former left Ukraine in January 2022, while the whereabouts of the latter remain unknown.

It should be noted that the majority of the property and corporate rights of the construction company "Betonbud" was transferred to the management of ARMA on July 30. Earlier in Kyiv, the assets of several companies were arrested, of which the fictitious beneficiary was a 62-year-old Lviv resident Olha Kuts.

The list of arrested properties included nearly a hectare of land on Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard in the city center and the unfinished residential complex "Poetyka" in the capital. The total value of the property may reach 5 billion UAH. It was found out that Kuts was an employee of several companies related to the Kozak family and signed a power of attorney, according to which she became the owner of more than 50% of the companies owning the arrested properties.
