Ukraine will receive a batch of AS90 self-propelled artillery units from Britain

As indicated by the ministry, a total of 16 units of the SPG are planned to be delivered, 10 of which have already been received, and another six will be delivered in the coming weeks. The UK Ministry of Defence emphasized that the artillery systems play a critical role in ensuring the protection of Ukrainian troops and in destroying important Russian targets.

In addition, the UK and Ukraine will create a joint unit of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, under the leadership of Foreign Minister David Lammy and Defence Minister John Healy, which will combine expert capabilities and help implement a new nation-wide approach to Ukraine.
