President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump. He emphasized the existence of a common position.

He announced this information during the meeting with Trump, reports The Guardian.

Zelenskyy noted that he and former President Donald Trump have a "unified opinion that the war in Ukraine must be stopped."

Also, according to Zelenskyy, it was important for him to meet with all the candidates for President of the United States of America.

At the same time, as Washington Post writes, Trump expressed the opinion that what is happening in Ukraine is a shame.

He also stated that he could "very quickly" reach an agreement between Zelenskyy and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, but refused to disclose the details of what the agreement would be about.
