NKREKP approved increase in maximum electricity prices
NKREKP approved increase in maximum electricity prices
The regulator’s press service reported this.
It is claimed that this "will not in any way affect the fixed level of electricity prices for the population", but is connected with the need to create conditions for commercial imports of electricity from Europe in order to make up for a possible deficit in winter.
The following maximum prices are offered on the day-ahead and intraday markets:
- from 00:00 to 07:00 – 5,600 UAH/MWh;
- from 07:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 – 6,900 UAH/MWh;
- from 17:00 to 23:00 – 9,000 UAH/MWh;
- minimum price limit – 10 UAH/MWh.
It is proposed to increase the maximum price in the period from 11:00 to 17:00 from the current UAH 5,600 to UAH 6,900 per MWh.
