Ukraine has already received the Patriot system from Romania

Ukraine has already received the Patriot air defense system provided by the NATO country Romania.

This was reported by the representative of the Ministry of Defence of Romania, Constantin Spînu.

«We confirm that the Patriot system has arrived in Ukraine», – said the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Romania, Constantin Spînu, in a comment to Radio Liberty on October 3.

The day before, on October 2, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, expressed gratitude to Romania for the Patriot systems.

«I thank every country that supports us in air defense matters. Special thanks to Romania for the Patriot systems. Together we can achieve even greater effectiveness – we can end Russian terror by jointly destroying «Shaheds» and missiles», – wrote Zelenskyy.

Prior to this, the transfer of the Patriot system to Ukraine had been consistently supported by the government, parliament, and president of Romania.
