The Ministry of Defence has reduced inventory stocks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has amended order 232 from April 2016, regarding the assignment of inventory clothing and equipment to the Armed Forces soldiers.

This was reported by a member of the Minister of Defence’s council, Bohdana Yarova.

According to her, under the amendments, only the bulletproof vest and helmet are considered "inventory items." In addition, the military from the Air Assault Forces and Special Operations Forces need to "keep track" of their headphones.

"No, you no longer need to search for your sleeping pad in the swamps," noted a representative of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

When transferring to another unit, it is no longer necessary to return the sleeping bag that a soldier has used for a long time and receive another sleeping bag in the new unit that someone else has used.

Upon discharge, soldiers must only return the body armor and helmet, emphasized Dana Yarova, urging the military to receive the proper items, which they did not take because they did not want to be held responsible for their potential loss.
