The Defence Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed their withdrawal from Vuhledar on Wednesday.

Earlier, Russian military had announced the capture of the city in the southwest of Donetsk region. According to the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia," due to the threat of encirclement, Ukrainian military decided to withdraw the troops from the city.
