Air defence forces destroyed 9 out of 19 enemy "Shaheds"

On the night of October 4th, Russia attacked Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using 19 kamikaze drones. As a result of the air defence battle, 9 UAVs were shot down, and another 7 were neutralized with the help of electronic warfare.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media.

The enemy launched 19 Shahed-type strike UAVs from the Russian regions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk, as well as from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air defense shot down 9 enemy drones in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Kherson regions.

An additional 7 enemy drones were likely lost due to electronic warfare actions. No information about damage or casualties has been reported.
