Russian forces attacked a volunteer vehicle in the Donetsk region: one person was killed
On Sunday, an enemy FPV drone attacked a volunteer vehicle in the village of Illinka in the Donetsk region, resulting in the death of one volunteer and injuries to another.
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office
"According to the investigation, on October 6, 2024, in the village of Illinka of the Kurakhivska community, the Russian army attacked with an FPV drone a vehicle with representatives of a volunteer organization. They were on their way to evacuate civilians from a dangerous region.
As a result of the received bodily injuries, a 37-year-old volunteer died, and his 32-year-old colleague suffered an acoustic trauma."
On Sunday, the cities of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk and the village of Serebryanka in the Bakhmut district were also under Russian fire, where artillery shelling wounded citizens aged 22, 66, and 69.
The prosecution also clarified that in the settlement of Bilenke near Kramatorsk, four civilians were injured – men aged 34 and 41, and a 28-year-old woman with her 6-year-old son.
In Kostyantynivka, a 48-year-old resident sustained life-incompatible injuries while driving on one of the streets due to an attack by enemy GABs. Two more residents – a 22-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman suffered mine-explosive and shrapnel injuries to their hands.
In total, on Sunday in the Donetsk region, two civilians were killed and ten were injured as a result of Russian attacks, including a 6-year-old child.
