Strike by GAB on Kharkiv: 21 injured, people under the rubble

21 person, including a teenager, was injured as a result of a Russian strike on Kharkiv on the morning of October 8.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov and the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov on Telegram. 

Direct speech from the head of the region: "An enemy strike has been recorded in the Industrial district of Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, a civilian enterprise has been damaged."

"There were several strikes, the type of weapon that hit the civilian enterprise is being determined. A large-scale fire broke out at the site, and there are 6 affected individuals. At least 2 people are trapped under the rubble at the site of the strike. Rescuers are doing everything possible to help them."

Later, Syniehubov added that the number of affected individuals increased to 11. Among them is a 16-year-old child. Three of the injured are in serious condition. The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that there is damage to the infrastructure. 

Even later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the number of injured had risen to 16.

According to Syniehubov, as of 12:15, 7 people were hospitalized, while other affected individuals received medical assistance on the spot.

At 12:40, Terekhov reported that there were already 21 known injured, 17 of whom had been hospitalized, including a 16-year-old teenager.
