A daring robbery of a currency exchange employee in the center of Warsaw — the window of a foreigner’s car was smashed and approximately 1 million zlotys were stolen.

On Wilcza Street in the center of Warsaw, a daring robbery took place, during which the criminals grabbed a bag with a large sum of cash from a parked Toyota car. The crime occurred on the morning of October 8.

According to preliminary data, the thieves likely punctured a tire on the Toyota, which was driven by a currency exchange employee. At this moment, another car pulled up to the Toyota, and two men wearing black masks jumped out.

The criminals smashed the windows and took a bag containing approximately 250,000 euros, which is more than a million zlotys. They then got into their car and fled the scene. It is assumed that there were 2–3 more people in their vehicle.

At the time of the robbery, the driver of the Toyota was unharmed. According to eyewitnesses, the attack lasted only about 20 seconds. Efforts to locate the perpetrators are actively underway. The police have confirmed the incident but are refusing to disclose details.

According to unofficial information, the victim is a Ukrainian citizen. The criminals approached his car, smashed the window, and stole the bag with the money. The operation was so swift that the driver did not have time to react. The victim reported an amount of 250,000 euros to the police, and law enforcement plans to verify this information.
