More than 90% of Ukrainians trust the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - survey

Also, according to sociologists, 83% of respondents trust the State Emergency Service, 80% trust volunteer organizations, 79.5% trust volunteer battalions, and 74% trust the National Guard.

The State Border Service is trusted by 70% of Ukrainians, the Security Service of Ukraine by 64%, the Ministry of Defence by 63%, the church by 62.5%, and public organizations by 59%.

Also, more trust rather than distrust is expressed towards the National Bank (respectively 50% and 39%), the National Police (respectively 50% and 41%), the President (respectively 48.5% and 44.5%), and the Ombudsman (respectively 42% and 34%).

Most respondents express distrust towards the Verkhovna Rada (78.5% do not trust it), the state apparatus (77% towards officials), parties (73.5%), the government (72.5%), courts (the judicial system overall) (70%), the prosecutor’s office (63%), the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (58%), the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (58%), the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (57%), commercial banks (55%), the State Bureau of Investigation (53%), and the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (51%).

48% of respondents do not trust the media, while 45% do; 46% trust trade unions, while 26% do not trust them.

The survey was conducted from September 20 to September 26, 2024, using the face-to-face method in territories controlled by the government of Ukraine and where no hostilities are taking place. A total of 2016 respondents aged 18 and over were surveyed. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%. However, additional systematic deviations of the sample may be caused by the consequences of Russian aggression, particularly the forced evacuation of millions of citizens.
