On the night of October 24, the defenders of the Ukrainian sky destroyed about ten drones that the aggressor country Russia attempted to use to attack Kyiv. The city suffered no damage or casualties.

This was the 14th air attack by the aggressor on the capital of Ukraine since the beginning of October. Details were reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

"As usual, to strike the peaceful city, the enemy used UAVs. The launch location was the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, and the drones approached the capital mainly from the north and northeast," he noted.

An air raid alert was declared three times in Kyiv during the night and lasted almost six hours in total. During this time, air defense forces and means detected about a dozen Russian drones in the airspace around the city.

"All enemy UAVs that threatened the capital were neutralized. No information about destruction or casualties was reported. The operational briefing data is being updated and clarified," stated the head of the KMA.

According to him, as of 07:30, combat operations against the remaining Russian drones were still ongoing in the Kyiv region, so he did not rule out the possibility of declaring another air raid alert in Kyiv.

"I strongly urge you to listen to alert signals and use shelters in case of danger. Take care of yourselves," added Popko.
