The Cabinet of Ministers prohibited applying blackout schedules to telecommunications operators’ facilities

The Cabinet of Ministers added the technical facilities of telecommunications operators to the list that will not be subject to electricity outage schedules.

This is stated in government decree No.1260 dated November 1.

According to the document, electricity consumption restriction schedules will not affect the Security and Defence Forces, as well as the technical means of electronic communications and/or objects of electronic communication networks approved by the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunication Networks.

It is also established that the list of critically important objects that should be provided with priority electricity supply will be in effect until June 1, 2025.
