The European Union has supplied Ukraine with over 980,000 artillery shells out of the promised one million

This was reported by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, during his visit to Kyiv.

Borrell acknowledged that the EU failed to deliver the promised one million shells by spring 2024, but assured that by the end of the year, Ukraine will receive all the necessary ammunition and even more.

In total, by the end of the year, the EU is to deliver over 1.5 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine.
