Border guards destroyed an enemy BTR-70 using a drone

Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict losses on the Russian occupying army. Recently, Ukrainian border guards destroyed a Russian BTR-70 in one of the directions.

The enemy "armor" was "demilitarized" by Ukrainian FPV drones. The video of the strike was shown by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"Border guards destroyed the enemy BTR-70," the statement reads.

The published footage captures several strikes on the Russian armored personnel carrier, after one of which the vehicle catches fire.

The Soviet armored personnel carrier BTR-70 is a combat wheeled amphibious vehicle designed to transport personnel of motorized rifle units of the ground forces. Equipped with an independent suspension, eight wheels (all-wheel drive), it has high dynamic characteristics and ride smoothness, all-round armor and machine gun armament (KPVT machine gun of 14.5 mm caliber, and PKT machine gun of 7.62 mm caliber).

Adopted by the Soviet Army in 1972.

The BTR-70 can follow tanks, overcome trenches, ditches, and water obstacles on the move.
