Zelenskyy urged Ukrainians to prepare for blackouts

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia will continue to conduct combined strikes on the energy sector, so Ukrainians should prepare for blackouts.

He said this in an interview with "Ukrainian Radio”.

“Every day we understand what they can do. They will continue to carry out combined attacks, accumulating their forces and production. What is all this for? Obviously, blackouts — of course, dissatisfaction of people, dissatisfaction of society,” the president noted.

At the same time, according to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is currently “in a very good position.”

“There must be different types of protection for the power grid. We are ready, for example, today, I will not disclose the number, but regarding the number of agreements concerning missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, Hawk, IRIS-T, etc., many air defence systems, we are now in a very good position,” the president emphasized.
