The occupiers are attacking Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in three directions, - Voloshyn

The Russians are actively attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the Vremivka ledge and preparing for an offensive in the areas of Huliaipole and Orikhiv, reported the spokesperson of the Southern Defence Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

Voloshyn noted that every day Russians conduct about a dozen and a half assaults in the direction of Velyka Novosilka, trying in this way to cut off the logistical routes for the Ukrainian military holding positions in the Kurakhove area.

"In other words, the enemy continues not only shelling but also assaults. They are carried out by small infantry groups of 5-10 people; however, Armored Fighting Vehicles are used for delivery and support. In other directions, Huliaipole and Orikhiv, the enemy is preparing for an assault, replenishing ammunition, and conducting engineering reconnaissance, as well as attempting reconnaissance by combat," added Voloshyn.

Over the weekend, Russian Z-channels also reported about tactical offensives by Russian troops around Orikhiv.
