The parliament adopted a bill on the deprivation of state awards from traitors of Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already signed it.

This is reported with reference to the bill card.

Today, November 20, the Ukrainian president signed a law on the deprivation of state awards from traitors of Ukraine.

The law provides for the possibility of depriving individuals of state awards who are found guilty of:

  • committing serious or especially grave crimes,

Such an additional punishment may be imposed by the court. When passing a sentence, the court is obliged to decide whether there are grounds for depriving the accused of state awards of Ukraine.
